This day includes:

IN DETAIL - HOW IT WORKS ON THE DAY:

We will start by meeting at Cake It Up (9am sharp), then we will walk across to Ali's studio for our first session then followed by some morning tea.

Afterwards, we stroll to visit Felicity's studio to make our yummy candles.

Then we pop next door to Deb's studio to create our beautiful upcycled lantern.

We then wonder back to Nicole's studio for a well earned lunch break, limbo & some games, before we start our final workshop for the day.

Finally, we finish the day with a full freestyle workshop and let the kids creative minds wonder and create, a great way to wind down from a fun & full day.

Drop off (9am sharp) & pick up (3.30pm) will be from the same location at Cake It Up.

WORKSHOP 1 - Pottery @ Ali F Made It

So we’re going to use air dry clay and have 1.5 hours to cut, decorate and seal these cuties.

You will make 5 magnets (1 will be for Mother’s Day)

We’ll use a variety of techniques, including acrylic, paints, glitter, impressions, pens, and everything will be sealed with magnets attached at the end of the session.

WORKSHOP 2 - Candle Making @ Felicity J Aitken - Creator & Teacher

Learn the fun craft of candle making. Using colours scent and imagination to create your colourful artisan pillar candle.

In this workshop you will learn the power of colour, colour combinations, scent, oils botanicals and the playful medium that is wax.

WORKSHOP 3 - Upcycled Lantern @ Stalia Design Studio

In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to select different materials, coordinate them and stick them to a glass jar to create a beautiful piece of art that is enhanced by being lit from within

The best part is you get to play with paints, glue and fabrics and Mum or Dad don't have to clean up!

This is a wonderful workshop where kids are encouraged to explore textures and colours and how they interact with light

WORKSHOP 4 - Freestyle Cupcake Decorating @ Cake It Up

Kids can sit and decorate their cupcakes with our ejector cutters an also learn how to use our 3D fondant moulds We guide the kids on how to professionally use the moulds and make shapes such as flowers, shells, lady bugs, mermaid tails, starfish and more!

This is a freestyle workshop, allowing kids to express their creativity and make their own creations using fondant!
